BigKina Deposit: BSP, Kina Bank and CellMoni

How to deposit at BigKina with BSP, Kina Bank or CellMoni: the DEPOSIT panel step by step, the exact amount rule, how long a top-up takes and common fixes.

Depositing at BigKina in one minute

Everything at BigKina is in Kina, and you top up from the banks and wallets you already use in PNG: BSP, Kina Bank and CellMoni. The DEPOSIT panel walks you through four screens: method, amount, pay, done. Your balance updates as soon as the payment is confirmed, and you can track a pending top-up from the dot on the balance capsule at the top of the lobby.

This guide covers each method, the exact-amount rule that makes top-ups match faster, how long a deposit takes, and what to do if money has left your account but has not shown up in BigKina yet.

Deposit step by step

  1. Log in and tap DEPOSIT at the top of the lobby.
  2. Method. Pick BSP, Kina Bank or CellMoni. The minimum and maximum for that method show under its name before you choose it.
  3. Amount. Tap a quick amount or type your own on the keypad. The app may adjust it by a few toea (for example K20.37) so your transfer can be matched to your ticket automatically. Keep the amount exactly as shown.
  4. Pay. The app shows the account to pay into, the figure to TRANSFER EXACTLY (with a COPY button) and, for bank transfers, a short transfer note. Open your bank or CellMoni app, send exactly that amount to that account, and put the note in the description word for word.
  5. Confirm. Back in BigKina, enter the payment reference from your bank SMS (you can paste the whole SMS and the app picks the number out), tap TAP TO ADD YOUR RECEIPT to attach a photo or screenshot, and tap CONFIRM. The done card shows CREDITED, or RECEIPT RECEIVED · CHECKING while a person looks at it.

You can keep playing with your existing balance while a top-up is being checked; a dot on the balance capsule means a ticket is still open. Tap VIEW TRANSACTIONS on the done card, or MENU › TRANSACTIONS later, to see every deposit, its status and its ticket number.

Deposit with BSP

Choose BSP in the DEPOSIT panel and transfer from BSP mobile banking, BSP internet banking or a BSP branch. Use the exact amount and the transfer note shown in the app. The note is a plain everyday word on purpose: never write game, bet, casino or deposit in a bank description, or the bank cannot credit it. Mobile and internet transfers are usually matched within minutes; a branch deposit can take longer because the bank posts it later.

If your BSP app asks for a beneficiary name, use the one BigKina shows on the pay screen. Save the account as a payee so the next top-up is two taps, but check the pay screen each time: the account can change.

Deposit with Kina Bank

Choose Kina Bank and pay from the Kina Bank app or internet banking. The rules are the same: exact amount, the transfer note in the description, then the reference and receipt in BigKina and CONFIRM. Transfers between Kina Bank accounts post fast, so most Kina Bank top-ups land within a few minutes.

Deposit with CellMoni

Choose CellMoni when you want to top up from your Digicel CellMoni wallet. The app shows the number to send to and the exact amount. Send from the CellMoni menu or app, keep the confirmation SMS, then enter its reference, add the screenshot and tap CONFIRM. CellMoni transfers are usually the quickest to match because the confirmation comes straight back.

CellMoni has no transfer note step in BigKina: the exact amount and the SMS reference are what the match uses.

The exact-amount rule, explained

BigKina matches your transfer to your deposit ticket by amount, time and reference. To make that match certain, the app sometimes adds a few toea to the figure you picked. A K20 top-up might become K20.37. Pay exactly K20.37, not K20 and not K21, and the match is automatic. Round it off and a person has to check it by hand, which is slower.

The adjusted amount is only ever a few toea above what you asked for, and all of it is credited to your balance. If your bank app cannot send toea, choose a method that can, or pay the whole-Kina figure the app offers for that method.

How long does a BigKina deposit take?

When you paid the exact figure, the app says it: wallet credited in 1 to 5 seconds after you confirm. Transfers made outside banking hours, from a branch, with a rounded amount or with a blurry receipt wait for the bank to post or for a person to check, so those can take minutes to hours. A ticket you never pay expires by itself after a day, so an unpaid ticket does not block you; just start a new deposit when you are ready.

If the app shows a deposit as pending, you do not need to raise a second one. Two tickets for one transfer only slow things down.

Deposit not showing? Check these

Did you tap CONFIRM? The check starts when you do. Open DEPOSIT again; a pending ticket is shown there.

Wrong amount. Paying K20 for a K20.37 ticket means a manual match. It will still be credited, just not instantly. Open CHAT with the ticket number and your bank reference to speed it up.

Wrong account. Compare the account number you paid with the one on the pay screen. If you paid a different account, contact your bank; BigKina cannot see money sent elsewhere.

Bank delay. Branch deposits and some inter-bank transfers post later. Keep the receipt; once the bank posts it, the ticket is matched.

Old ticket. If you paid a ticket that had already expired, open CHAT with the receipt and the ticket is reopened.

Network. If the app shows a pending dot for a long time, pull to reload or reopen the app; the balance may have updated already.

Deposit limits and the daily rhythm

Each method has its own minimum and maximum, and they are shown in the app before you choose, so you never have to guess. Limits can change, so trust the screen over anything written elsewhere. If a method you want is greyed out, it is temporarily unavailable; another method still works.

A quick tip for small top-ups: pick a pokie with a low minimum bet so a small deposit gives a long session. The HOT row and the studio pages show many games that spin from a few toea.

Deposits and bonuses

Some PROMO offers are tied to a deposit: you choose the offer first, then deposit, and the bonus is added once the deposit is confirmed. Every offer shows its minimum deposit and turnover before you claim it. If you deposit without picking an offer, you get a plain top-up with no turnover attached, which is what most players want when they plan to withdraw soon. More in the bonus guide.

Deposit questions

What is the minimum deposit at BigKina?

It depends on the method and is shown in the DEPOSIT panel before you pay. Small top-ups are welcome; pick a low-bet pokie to make them last.

Can I deposit with cash?

Not directly. Deposit cash into your own BSP, Kina Bank or CellMoni account first, then transfer from there.

Why did the app change my amount to K20.37?

The few extra toea make your transfer match your ticket automatically. Pay exactly that amount and all of it is credited.

I paid but the balance has not changed.

Enter the reference, attach the receipt and tap CONFIRM if you have not, then give it a few minutes. If it is still pending after that, open CHAT with the ticket number and your bank reference.

Can someone else deposit for me?

The deposit can come from any PNG account, but withdrawals only go to an account in your own name. Keep your deposits and payouts in your own name to avoid delays.

Is there a fee to deposit?

BigKina does not charge one. Your bank or CellMoni may charge its normal transfer fee.
